FU Radar: Dead Island

Dead Island was initially announced way back in 2007, but the game seemingly became vaporware when the developer couldn’t get a publisher. Well looks like Dead Island is back on track, the dev got a publisher and the game is reportedly coming out this year for the Ps3, Pc, and Xbox 360.

Dead Island looks like it’ll bring (some) innovation to the long crowded zombie game genre (….there’s a different zombie game post right below this one isn’t there?) because unlike other zombie games where you’re given all sorts of crazy weapons in this one the weapons are more realistic, you know weapons you would find in everyday life. The game is also supposed to have some sort of RPG elements to it as well.

We’ll have more details on this promising title as they’re announced.

Edit: Just noticed I called this game “Zombie Island” instead of dead Island about 5 times in this post AND the title./fixed.
