Bethesda Softworks, the company who brought you Oblivion, Fallout: New Vegas, and a shit-load of other great titles, has a new and exciting game on the way. When you think of Bethesda and upcoming games, you’ll probably think of Skyrim (Elder Scrolls V), but Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, looks very promising. The gore is minimal, but looks very well done. The art design looked unique, but I got some Overlord vibes from the buildings. The bad guys are fuck-ugly, but again, they are unique compared to other fantasy titles. The plot-line of the game is hard to discern, if there even is one. The official site for Hunted: The Demon’s Forge states:
“Upon the promise of their fortune in gold, two mercenaries have taken on the daunting task of finding out where the innocents have been taken and to stop the madness. Their journey will take them on a dark and twisted path where they will encounter vicious creatures, death and sacrifice. This path will lead them deep within the world of Kala Moor…and to the secrets of The Demon’s Forge.”
Sounds interesting… very vague though. With third person shooter and adventure style melee fights combined, it looks promising, and the co-op will be intriguing.
