Ever played Metro: 2033? Well I did. It was a really good game, but had all the earmarks of being made by a small, fledgling studio. By that I mean: Highly ambitious, great concept, lots of enthusiasm, but some glaring problems. With M:2033, the problems I experienced were lame voice cast, Hole-filled plot, and bad optimization for PC.
Well that may change right here because the Ukrainian studio that made the original (4A Studio) is making a sequel that will be on the consoles as well as PC! M:2033 was originally published by THQ for PC only. This move to make a sequel means one thing to me. THQ saw enough potential in the first game to not only fund a sequel, but give it a console debut! This is a game to watch in coming months. A post-apocalyptic game made by a Ukrainian studio, based off of a Russian book… All I can think to say is WIN!
