Prototype 2 is a game that has a lot of potential to be incredibly terrific, it’s got action, an interesting setting, and Prototype 2 is essentially an M rated super hero game, what’s not to like?
Well if it’s anything like the original Prototype, the vast wealth of power, and destruction will grow old fast (so this trailer clearly isn’t a good indication of anything being done differently) however, I will mention that the developer has stated outright that they’re listening very closely to fan feedback from the original Prototype, which is definitely good to hear.
Also, anyone else a little ticked off to see a video game trailer that depicts content that you can’t actually access unless you buy the upgraded version, or additional DLC? I wouldn’t find it as off-putting if the trailer was exclusively meant to promote the collectors edition, but to see standard game trailers move towards advertising day one DLC, is disheartening to say the least.
