A document has been passed around the internet recently which is allegedly an internal Microsoft presentation about the future of Xbox, including the successors to the Xbox 360, and Kinect.
A handful of juicy features are revealed for the Xbox 720 if you take the document seriously:
- Cloud based entertainment, including potentially buying out OnLive
- Native 3D
- Augmented reality “Fortaleza Glasses”
- Scalable hardware
- Kinect 2/4 player motion tracking
- Blu-Ray
- DVR
All of this for the sweet price point of $299. This info may be legit too since the 2010 document includes info about the recently debuted Xbox 360 “Smart Glass” and”Covington & Burling, LLP” has successfully had the 56 page document removed, Covington & Burling, LLP is a major law firm that represents Microsoft.
