“Suffice it to say; I’m gonna kill ya”
This new trailer for Borderlands 2 does a great job of selling everything important, or marketable about Borderlands, in one clever dashingly handsome package.
Aside from being surprisingly efficient, and well done marketing, it gives us an entertaining albeit brief glimpse into the personality of the central antagonist ‘Handsome Jack’ who makes you want to kill him not just because he’s ‘the bad guy’ but also because he’s sort of an asshole
And despite popular belief, asshole-ism? isn’t directly synonymous with ‘bad guys’ you see that thug in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ throw chocolate milk Peters way? Sure he ended up shooting his Uncle a minute later, but that’s why he’s a bad guy, and not an asshole.
