New Horror Game: Until Dawn Announced

The Playstation Move has suffered a pretty terrible reputation for having very little games, especially compared to the Kinect who’s vaulted past the PsMove commercially despite the Move’s impressive 1:1 3D tracking.

Sony didn’t rectify this situation at Gamescom, but they did announce what looks to be the Playstation Moves first ‘hard core’ exclusive title, and it’s a first person ‘slasher flick’ flashlight type game. Right now all we have to go on is this trailer, and a description:

“One night, you and seven other teenagers are on a remote mountain on the anniversary of your friend’s mysterious death. The power’s out, there’s no phone reception and you’re trying to get the hot cheerleader to notice you. What could possibly go wrong?”

Sounds like my kind of game, I just hope the killer doesn’t end up being supernatural in anyway; I saw the Jason reboot (after never seeing the originals) and his invincibility/coming back from seeming death provoked an instant “Oh, fuck off” reaction from me.

Spread the word; help corrupt the masses.
