Resistance Burning Skies Features Trailer

You know those trailers that seem like they’re trying too hard to sell you on a game? Well this is one of them. That’s in no way a bad thing, in fact it’s quite an awesome trailer, but at the same time it feels desperate, which is understandable, as Resistance 3 did sell abysmally despite glowing reviews, and Resistance Burning Skies commercial fate will likely determine whether or not the Resistance franchise is carried into the future, which is unfair considering Vita’s extremely unimpressive sales numbers.

Stepping away from negativity for a moment, Resistance Burning Skies does look great, the previews have been positive, it’s got all the features you’d expect from a home console release, and nearly everything in regards to Burning Skies looks good (graphics could use a little work)

Resistance Burning Skies is hitting Playstation Vita May 29th.

Introducing Soul Sacrifice

Soul Sacrifice is a recently revealed Playstation Vita adventure title where you disfigure your body in order to improve yourself in combat, as you can see from the image above, the man is removing his spine, which he’ll turn around, and use as a sword (video game logic is almost always better than real-world logic)

If you’d like to see Soul Sacrifice’s hero rip out his spine, and proceed to use it for murder, then continue reading for the very first full Soul Sacrifice trailer.

Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 Reveal Trailer

Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 has officially been revealed after months of speculation, leaks, and rumors, and it looks to feature all of the mindless action fans of the series crave, and then some (‘then some’ in this case meaning horse back riding.)

Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 tells an interesting story of an emerging cold war between China, and the U.S, as China hordes 95% of the raw earth minerals needed to manufacture electronics, and weapons. Meanwhile U.S security is seriously threatened by what looks like local hackers, and potential activists in the same vein as ‘Anonymous’ And all of this is without even touching base on the 1980s classic cold warm storyline being told simultaneously.

‘Klassic’ Mortal Kombat Skins For All Ninjas On Vita

As I’ve mentioned in the past, Mortal Kombat Vita is arriving May 1st with all of Mortal Kombat(2011)’s DLC in tact. The most obvious benefit to this is the additional characters, but the other often neglected advantage is the ‘Klassic’ skin/fatality pack.

Up above we have a trailer show casing the female ninjas of Mortal Kombat with retro skins, and continue reading for klassic costumed male ninjas.

Extended Mortal Kombat Live Action Kitana, Mileena Vita Ad

Show off your scantly clad body skill anywhere

Here’s the full sexy live action ad for Mortal Kombat Vita. In it we see two lady’s doubling as Kitana, and Mileena squaring off (via gameplay) despite being in completely different places. That’s right online connectivity in a portable is apparently black magic that must be advertised.

Either way, it’s still a great trailer that makes good use of an interesting concept. Oh, and it showcases furious female boobs, so win win right? But seriously let’s see this faux-fighter concept applied to characters we actually care about, rather than ones we just want to oggle. Would like to see a tall lean black haired possibly Asian or even black dude double as Scorpion, against a stocky brown haired pale white guy playing as Sub-Zero. Or they could even go the total opposite direction, and use people that look in no way like their kombating avatar. Little asian girl as Kratos VS 400 pound 40 year old posing as Sonya Blade: GO!

Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 Boxart?

Leading up to the May 1st reveal for 2012′s Call Of Duty we have some more potential proof that this years overly-popular COD title will indeed be a sequel to 2010′s Call Of Duty: Black Ops, in the form of the above (possibly) leaked boxart.

It’s hard to look at this boxart, and not be at least a little skeptical though (say hi to the convenient lens glare) and the case is obviously neither an Xbox 360, or Ps3 box (looks like either a Ps2 or DVD case) of course this isn’t particularly odd, as I believe retail chains often use platform neutral black cases to advertise the opportunity for gamers to pre-order upcoming titles.

We’ll keep ya in the loop on this one.

Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 Coming This Year?

Looks like this years Call Of Duty is going to be a direct sequel to 2010′s Black Ops. A retail source forwarded the image above of a poster they received to Kotaku. There’s some notable additional details to this story:

  • This could of course be a hoax
  • The date on the poster would be a reveal date, as Call Of Duty titles release in the October-December time frame to take advantage of the Holiday rush
  • In February a French video game site found themselves temporarily banned from Activision events after they reported that 2012′s Call Of Duty would be a Black Ops sequel.
  • An Amazon leak earlier in the year indicated this years Call Of Duty would be a Black Ops sequel
  • In 2010′s Black ops a debriefing was the framing narrative used to tell the player about a massive secret conspiracy. This poster is likely referencing that.

Resistance Burning Skies Multiplayer Trailer

Resistance Burning Skies is hitting Playstation Vita May 29th, and it’s packing 8vs8 online twin stick FPS multiplayer across 6 maps, with 3 different gameplay modes, and it’s looking action packed, and intense. Rarely do portables get full fledged multiplayer experiences, and Burning Skies looks to set a highly entertaining trend for Sony’s handheld console.

Mortal Kombat Vita Kitana Trailer

The full version of the Mortal Kombat Kitana trailer plays off a childlike fantasy we’ve all had; being someone we’re not. Who didn’t want to be a Pokemon trainer, a Dragon Ball Z character, or a Yu-Gi-Oh duelist when they were younger (speaking to fellow 90s  kids here) so yes incredibly effective (at marketing to kids, and man-children) Mortal Kombat Vita commercial, I do want to break skulls, and secretly freeze motherfuckers….too bad I didn’t care much for the actual game though.

Mortal Kombat Vita Hitting Hard May 1st

Word Cloud: Sexy, Stuck-up, Violent, Bitch

Mortal Kombats 2D re-imagining that released on the Ps3, and Xbox 360 last year is coming to the Vita May 1st, and as with the previous Mortal Kombat Vita advertisement, the emphasis is being placed squarely on portability.

Not a great ad really, unless you’re incredibly horny, and get off on the whole bitchy princess fantasy.

But if you want to see some real Mortal Kombat Vita features, continue past the break.
